Lawrence D. Schaffer Endowed Scholarship Program

  • The Sigma Alpha Mu Foundation is fortunate to have a robust scholarship program with 130+ scholarships.

Some scholarships are for specific majors, for example:

    • For specific engineering fields--Civil, Electrical, Optical, and Biomedical
    • For Jewish Studies majors or minors, especially those at Indiana University or the University of Texas
    • For leadership and activities
    • For many other majors and chapters!

THE MAJORITY OF OUR SCHOLARSHIPS ARE BASED ON SOME TYPE OF FINANCIAL NEED.

Timeline: Applications are posted each year in November. Recipients are announced in May.
